Fine Arts at Arcadia
The Fine Arts program at AFBCS celebrates creativity, expression, and the joy of artistic exploration. From elementary to secondary school, we offer a variety of opportunities for students to engage in the world of the arts.
Elementary School Performances
Every year, our elementary students showcase their talents in both a Christmas performance and an end-of-year show. These performances are a wonderful opportunity for our young artists to express themselves, develop confidence, and share their creativity with the school community and their families.
Secondary School Performances
Our secondary students also have the chance to shine on stage with their own Christmas and end-of-year performances. These events are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our older students as they bring their artistic visions to life.
Backstage Opportunities for Secondary Students
In addition to performing on stage, secondary students have the unique opportunity to explore various backstage roles, including:
- Set Design & Construction
- Behind the Scenes Coordination
- Hair & makeup
- Sound Booth Operation
- Extras & Leading Parts
These hands-on experiences allow our students to gain valuable insight into the production side of theater and develop a deeper appreciation for all the elements that come together to create a successful performance.
